01/04/2013 تعيين ككاهن في كنيسة القلب الأقدس ومدير المعهد التثقيفي في بغداد ومحاضرا في مادة القانون الكنسي في كلية بابل الحبرية للفلسفة واللاهوت في العراق، كما شغل منصب قاضي في محكمة البداءة الكنسية الكاثوليكية الموحدة. وبعدها رئيس محكمة الاستئناف الكنسية الكاثوليكية الموحدة

04/11/2001 Ordained as an evangelist deacon at the priestly monastery in preparation for priestly ordination. 

11/01/2002 Ordained a priest in Baghdad. 

24/06/2002 Graduated from the Babylonian Pontifical College in Baghdad with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology. 

01/08/2002 Appointed as a parish priest at the Church of Divine Wisdom in the Suliq area of Baghdad and assistant director of the seminary in the Apostles’ Monastery (junior section). 

01/05/2005 Appointed as a parish priest at the Church of the Holy Trinity in the Habibiya area. 

01/08/2009 Appointed as a parish priest at the Sacred Heart Church in the Karada area, Hay El-Wehda. 

01/05/2006 Appointed as the director of the educational institute in Baghdad. 

01/08/2009 Sent to complete his studies at the Oriental Institute of the Jesuit Fathers in Rome, Italy. 

15/10/2012 Obtained a Master’s degree in Canon Law from the Oriental Institute of the Jesuit Fathers in Rome and returned to pastoral service in Baghdad. 

01/04/2013 Appointed as a priest at the Sacred Heart Church and director of the educational institute in Baghdad and lecturer in Canon Law at the Babylonian Pontifical College of Philosophy and Theology in Iraq. He also held the position of judge at the Unified Catholic Ecclesiastical Court and later became the head of the Unified Catholic Ecclesiastical Court of Appeal.

01/10/2018 Appointed as a parish priest at the Church of Our Lady Guardian of Plants, in Melbourne, Australia. 

18/10/2019 Received episcopal ordination in the Church of Our Lady Guardian of Plants, in Melbourne. 

Father Thair speaks four languages (Arabic, Chaldean, Italian, and English).
